I dont mind some of those modernized Vintage theme's.
Seen an Modern Husqvarna Dirt Bike fitted with late 70s tank/ plastics with period Paint. If you knew the bikes it didn't fool you. But looked damn cool all the same.

I'd go for a really deep and dark gray, kind of stealth type colour,devoid of any badges,emblems etc

the 70s bright stuff is a bit too "Tank Top and Flared" IMO

Just had a thought a deep gray with a touch of Yellow , you'd need to mix it yourself but don't dismiss it instantly

I'll take your Dark grey with Yellow accents and raise you one.

- Gun-Metal Grey with Mustard accents and Burgundy Pinstriped separating the two. :D
