I have been planning on buying my next bike to make into a bobber (possibly chopper for the future) and have been having a hard time deciding on what to use..

I really like the look of Suzuki Intruders (800 or 1400 is good), it seems you can do a lot with them and pretty easy and cheap to get parts to get it to the right vision.

I guess my first question is to anyone out there that can tell me there view on if this is a good bike option?

The kind of look i want eventually is this

or the springer seat style but does this take a lot of chopping of the frame where the old seat use to be? -

The first issue I have is the wiring as the previous owner ripped everything apart I have wires everywhere. I found a good diagram that I can use to figure anything out.
