My name is Tim and I am 21 with 9 years experience and I come from Oxfordshire in the UK. I grew up in the countryside often spending time playing on or with bikes, but it has been a few years since I was last on one.

I have recently been made redundant from my job, and with some of the payout (which was not much) I decided to spend a bit of money on having some fun. So I picked up a small Suzuki GP100

The reasoning for going for a little 100cc bike is to keep it simple. This is the first time I have done anything like this. Keep It Simple Stupid seems to be a moto i live by so that is how this bike is going to be.

So hear it is



As you can see the previous owner wanted to make it a trails bike and has chopped off the bottom of the bike.



For a while now I have been a fan of the Bobber look and after seeing several small 125cc bobber on the internet i decided that was the direction i want to go with the GP100.

so here is what it currently looks like.


Next step is to extend the swing arm and then fabricate the rest of the frame.

But for now the rest of the bike is currently on the table :-)


Anyway, i am sure i am going to have questions as i come along them.

For now i will continue to take a look at the bikes on here.

Give me your opinion.... can I pull this off? ( keep in mind gauges, chain guard, and side covers are coming off asap) also I thought of putting on my 14 inch apes in place of the Ace bars





or should I just modifiy my seat a bit and keep it as it sits now?
